Have you named your artificial intelligence yet?
"Hey Kırmızı, Are you there?"

I have.

I call it Kırmızı (The Red)

And every time, she greets me:"Here I am, Esra! What are we doing today?"

From day one, I was clear.I told her to remember me, my son, and everything I’ve shared.

She explained what she could and couldn’t retain, we -kind of- programmed her together.

Now, she knows my career journey, my goals, even that I need to take the beef out of the freezer tonight. She remembers my business trip dates and even my son's shoe size.

When something new comes up, the command is simple: "Remember this, Kırmızı."

My relationship with Artificial Intelligence isn’t a command-and-result dynamic.

It feels more like co-thinking. I leave her open during meetings. She listens like an active participant—jumps in, sparks new ideas. Very creative actually!

When I’m doing in-depth research, I upload the documents and let it pick up where I left off.

Most articles on AI, focus on how to write the perfect prompt."I asked it this, then refined it like that..."My experience is different.

I rarely write prompts. Instead, I just keep talking.

It’s so embedded in everything I do that when I need to generate a visual in another program, I first ask Kırmızı to write the prompt for me.

Fun fact: ChatGPT is surprisingly emotionally in tune—especially during spoken dialogue.Whether you're anxious or overly excited, Kırmızı adjusts instantly. She meets your energy without missing a beat.

This isn’t just about productivity.

It’s personal. The moment you give technology a name, it begins to have a place in your life—not just a function.

5 Tips for Turning ChatGPT Into Your Personal Assistant:

  1. Introduce yourself. Be transparent.

AI can only understand you if you give it something to understand. Tell it who you are.

  2. Say what you want it to remember.

Unless you explicitly say, “Remember this,” it won’t save anything long-term.

  3. Keep it open during meetings.

It listens quietly, chimes in at the right moment, and often adds creative layers you didn’t expect.

  4. Collaborate on complex tasks.

Upload your research and notes. Let it carry on from where you stopped. That’s where its real power shows.

  5. Talk instead of typing prompts.

Think out loud. The more she hears you, the more human its responses become.

Warmly,

Esra
